Grand Falls-Windsor, NL – Lionel Kelland Hospice is proud to recognize the generous support of Grand Toyota, who has provided the use of a 2026 Toyota Corolla for one year to support the Hospice’s growing Community Outreach and Hospice initiatives across Central Newfoundland.
The vehicle is already making an impact throughout the region, helping Hospice staff and volunteers connect directly with individuals, families, and communities through outreach visits, grief and bereavement support, education sessions, Hospice programming, volunteer engagement, and day-to-day Hospice operations.
As Lionel Kelland Hospice continues to expand services beyond its walls, the addition of the Community Outreach Vehicle is helping strengthen access to compassionate care and support for people throughout Central Newfoundland.
Lionel Kelland Hospice, Central Newfoundland’s first residential hospice, provides end-of-life care and support at no cost to residents and families. Since welcoming its first resident on April 4, 2024, the Hospice has continued to grow its programs and services to meet the evolving needs of the region.
“This vehicle will become an important part of how we connect with our communities,” said Peggy Hamilton, Executive Director of Lionel Kelland Hospice. “Whether it’s supporting outreach programming, visiting families, assisting with Hospice initiatives, attending community events, or helping with daily Hospice operations, this support from Grand Toyota is allowing us to reach people in a more meaningful and accessible way.”
The co-branded Community Outreach Vehicle is now travelling throughout Central Newfoundland and serves as a visible reminder of the importance of compassionate care, community connection, and support close to home.
Grand Toyota also shared their pride in supporting the Hospice’s work throughout the region.
“As a local business, we believe in supporting organizations that make a real difference in the lives of people in our communities,” said Todd Green, General Manager of Grand Toyota. “Lionel Kelland Hospice provides comfort, care, and support to so many families across Central Newfoundland, and we are honoured to play a small role in helping their team continue that important work both inside the Hospice and out in the community.”
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to community wellbeing, compassionate care, and ensuring individuals and families feel supported wherever they are.
“We are incredibly grateful to Grand Toyota for their generosity and community spirit,” added Hamilton. “This partnership helps us continue building connections, expanding outreach, and ensuring compassionate support is available to individuals and families across our region.”
This collaboration continues to strengthen Lionel Kelland Hospice’s mission to provide dignity, comfort, and compassionate care throughout Central Newfoundland, both within its residence and throughout the broader community.
